On Saturday night of March 3, 2012, at the Charleston Feast Meeting, Bro. Gary Collier delivered “Let Us Pass Over Unto the Other Side”. He uses Mark 4:35-41 to show how Jesus leads His followers into unknown territory and keeps them through the storm.

"Hell Is Moved to Meet Thee" by Bro. Josh Tarr from Camp Meeting 1967

Tuesday Jan 08, 2019
"Oh, I wish that I could pull back the curtain on that awful place, and let you peer into Hell...." Bro. Josh Tarr serves a heavy dose of reality, warning the sinner of their future if they will not repent.
I never had the privilege of hearing Brother Josh Tarr peach in person, but I have heard all my life about the impact that his preaching had on the church. After listening to this sermon, I can see why. He seems to embody the old song, "preachers in those good old days were filled with holy flame, preaching for the souls of men and not for worldly fame."
I'm excited to be able to offer this clip for you to listen to this week. God bless you.

“The Kingdom of God” is an excellent New Year’s message and is very easy listening. In Camp Meeting 2011, Bro. Joe Hashemi explains the mystery of the kingdom and lifts up Christ as the reigning king. It’s well worth your time and there is too much in here to miss it.
Happy New Year!

Tuesday Dec 25, 2018
We are reminded that “Jesus is the reason for the season”. These hymns focus on the salvation we celebrate and include “The Light of the World is Jesus”, “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem”, multiple renditions of “Joy to the World”, “O Come All Ye Faithful”, “O Holy Night”, “Wonderful Story of Love” and many others. There may be an Easter hint in several hymns. May the Spirit bless you in these hymns on Christmas.

"Jesus Christ Is the Messiah" by Bro. Ed Merritt in Camp Meeting 1996
Tuesday Dec 18, 2018
Tuesday Dec 18, 2018
Bro. Ed Merritt delivered "Jesus Christ is the Messiah" on Monday night of our Camp meeting 1996, the year that Atlanta hosted the summer Olympics. Going back to the fall of man in the beginning of Genesis, he lifts up Christ as the Messiah, the object of all scripture, and the Savior of the world. This is a fantastic sermon.

"Sanctified" by Bro. Gary Collier in Camp Meeting 1992
Tuesday Dec 11, 2018
Tuesday Dec 11, 2018
In Camp Meeting 1992 Bro. Gary Collier delivered “Sanctified”. From the Holy Scriptures he explains the necessary foundation of forgiveness of sins and the second work of grace that the bible calls sanctification. As God promises His Word won’t return void, may the tremendous quantity of scripture in this sermon emphatically convince listeners of this critical doctrine.
This sermon was delivered about 25 ‘short’ years ago. For ‘Our Folks’ who regularly worship with us, please especially enjoy the unity and support of delivering God’s Word manifest in the sanctioning!

“Don’t Pamper the Old Man” – Bro. B.A. Hobby – Camp Meeting 1960
Tuesday Dec 04, 2018
Tuesday Dec 04, 2018
"I experienced 35 years of being pushed around by the old man..." - Bro. B.A. Hobby
On Sunday night of Camp Meeting 1960, Bro. B.A. Hobby began his sermon "Don't Pamper The Old Man" reading from Ephesians 4 which states "That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."
Bro. B.A. goes on to enumerate the ways the old man, which is the sin nature, holds back the sinner and trips-up the converted man or woman.
He concludes by emphasizing the biblical truth that the old man must be destroyed and we must put on the new man (new nature) through sanctification (the second work of grace) to make it to heaven.

"Esther" a sermon delivered by Bro. Bernard Collier, Camp Meeting 1992
Tuesday Nov 27, 2018
Tuesday Nov 27, 2018
I was in attendance when “Esther” was preached; I was 11 years old in 1992, and quite honestly my only remembrance of it was that it was "that time that Uncle Bernard preached for a whole hour and covered the entire book of Esther!" Twenty-six years later I have revisited this sermon, and it is deep and rich, simple and also complex, easy to understand and digest yet detailed and spiritual. There is something here for everyone, young, old, and in between. This is a lengthy sermon but worth our attention. Let me know what you get out of it!

In Camp Meeting 2012 Bro. Jeff Price shared “Absalom – Our Righteous God has no Pleasure in a Sinner’s Death” He uses Absalom’s rebellion against his father, King David, (2 Samuel 15 to 19) as an allegory of our lost spiritual state. Just as David loved Absalom and mourned his death, in spite of his uprising, God loves man, even in sin and rebellion, and desires our deliverance. Though a just and righteous God must absolutely punish sin, rebellion and unrighteousness, He says “I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked… for why will ye die, O house of Israel?” (Ezekiel 33:11). The penalty for our sin and transgressions is provided in deliverance with Christ’s sacrifice to forgive sin and provide the earnest of His spirit in our hearts!!

“The Stone Which the Builders Rejected” was preached at the Camp Meeting in 1957. Very few of this brother's sermons are extant as he passed away in 1960 at the age of 62. Please make a few minutes for this blessed sermon.
