'The Hidden Wisdom' - Bro. Paul Merritt Sr. in Camp Meeting 1975
Tuesday May 22, 2018
Tuesday May 22, 2018
Tuesday night of Camp meeting 1975 Bro. Paul Merritt Sr. explains the Spirit would have to do the preaching. The Word of God is quick and powerful enough to separate the soul and spirit even if a dictionary can't explain the difference. We're all physical beings, but it takes the Spirit to make us spiritual beings. From the 2nd chapter of 1st Corinthians he explains the demonstration of the Spirit and of power to deliver freedom from the law of sin and death. The revelation of the mystery of the Spirit of Christ in you is the hope of glory. Sharing his love of church on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, while drawing on 71 years of experience, he explains that anything that causes us to leave the Lord out of our life for any period of time is harm. Nobody has ever pleased God with a sacrifice unless it was dear to them. Bro. Paul shares one of the many songs he wrote, and enjoys Sis. Joy Melton’s help leading another song: "There is a River".

“The Kingdom of Heaven is like unto…. ” - Sis. Joanna Basham in Columbia Feast Meeting 2016
Saturday evening of Columbia’s 2016 Mother’s Day meeting Sis. Joanna Basham delivered “The Kingdom of Heaven is like unto….”. From Matthew 13 she reads the parable of the sower explaining that our inheritance is among them that are sanctified while the deceitfulness of riches will choke the Word out. She moves on the parable of the tares to prove we have to be willing to do whatever it takes to make it to heaven!! Our spiritual heroes have been our example in holding up the Word of God and He has blessed them!

'The Harvest of the Lord' - Bro. Harry Collins Jr. in Camp Meeting 1975

Wednesday May 16, 2018
Bro Harry Collins Jr preached a mighty sermon in 1975 on the ‘Harvest of the Lord’. Ranging from the minor prophets (Bro. Harry says he doesn't think them to be so minor) through the Gospels and deep into Revelation, Bro. Harry convincingly connects the prophecies of the end of the world to it's fulfillment in Christ. This is strong doctrinal meat from a strong preacher - may it feed your soul as it did mine.

CSHC ‘Clip of the Week’ with Bro. Rudolph Esclavon, Camp Meeting 1952

“While walking out one evening, not knowing where to go, and just to pass the lonely hour my heart was troubled so. A band of holy people came singing with all their might, I gave my heart to Jesus enlisted in the fight.”
In 1903 in Lake Charles, LA, Bro. Rudolph Esclavon heard the sanctified people preaching on the street corner. Out of curiosity he stopped to hear what they had to say. He realized his lost condition when they preached that without holiness, “no man shall see the Lord”. He then gave his all to Jesus and enlisted in the fight.
In this sermon from Camp Meeting 1952, he preaches a powerful message on the necessary work of sanctification.
