This fourth of July Holiday, we celebrate our freedom and our independence. Nothing however, compares to the true freedom that we can find in Christ. Preaching on the story of the Exodus, Bro. Leon expresses that, “Freedom today has its roots in the word of God.” There is no bondage like the bondage of sin, but the blood of Christ can bring deliverance. “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

Sis. Jessie Sullivan in Camp Meeting 1970 preached “A Spirit of Intercession” just 2 months after her husband, Bro. Elliott Sullivan passed away. She exhorts that the Lord is moved by the prayers of the faithful as she reads from Genesis 18:17-19. Sis. Jessie was born in 1892 and was blessed to live another 24 years after this sermon to reach the age of 102.

Sharing his love of church on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, while drawing on 71 years of experience, he explains that anything that causes us to leave the Lord out of our life for any period of time is harm. Nobody has ever pleased God with a sacrifice unless it was dear to them. Bro. Paul shares one of the many songs he wrote, and enjoys Sis. Joy Melton’s help leading another song: “There is a River”.
