"A Safe Landing" by Bro. Floyd Hagan in Camp Meeting 1971
Tuesday Jun 25, 2019
Tuesday Jun 25, 2019
We are trusting in a great captain - Jesus Christ is piloting our ship, and He will take us safely home. Many notable men and women through history have sailed their own ships, only to come to ruin, but the old Ship of Zion has landed thousands over and she will land a million more. I pray you will be moved by this sermon.

"We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren...." 1 John 3:14
When do we experience "passed from death unto life?" When does "this mortal put on immortality?" Bro Harry Collins, Jr tackles these questions through the words of Jesus, the Apostle Paul, and the Apostle John. Bottom line: we need to make certain we are holy today if we want to make it to the city of God.
The words "lively" and "spirit-filled" seem inadequate to describing the powerful rush of the Holy Spirit felt in this sermon, preached over 50 years ago in the 1956 Camp Meeting. Bro. Harry Collins kept himself to the Chincoteague standard with this sermon clocking in at 15 minutes, 32 seconds. I pray that God will bless, encourage, and provoke you with this sermon.

“Two Works of Grace in the Scriptures" by Bro. Ed Merritt, in Camp Meeting 1958

"There are two works in the plan of salvation, and I can prove it by the scriptures," Bro Ed Merritt says as he begins his sermon, and then it is off to the races through the Old and New Testament. Along the way, he discusses the role of conversion, the necessity of sanctification, and how the resurrection relates to our spiritual life. This sermon is simply fantastic, both for learning and for spiritual encouragement. I have enjoyed it very much.

"Whose House Are We" by Bro. Charles and Sis. Lottie Riggs in Camp Meeting 1959
Thursday Jun 06, 2019
Thursday Jun 06, 2019
At the 1959 Campmeeting, Bro. Charles Riggs begins his sermon by asking his wife, Sis. Lottie, to join him in the pulpit. Together they read and expound on the true House of God, punctuated by three songs and lively exhortation.
I marvel at the freedom these brothers and sisters display in their worship. This recording is a glimpse into Christ's Sanctified Holy Church as it continued to transition from a travelling group to what we know today. God has been good to us, or, as Bro Charles Riggs said, "God has always taken good care of Little Charlie."
Praise God!

"It is not a work in progress."
The plan of salvation is complete, Sis. Kay extolls as she preaches on the seven seals found in John's Revelation letter. Have you found yourself intimidated by the book of Revelation? Sis. Kay's sermon can be an excellent primer for spiritual insight into the mysteries of the book. I hope you are blessed and encouraged by it as I have been.

Reading from the Old and New Testaments, Sis. Becky refers to this verse several times to illuminate Jesus Christ and His finished work. She continues to encourage the Christian to receive Christ's power through the Holy Ghost.

Thursday Apr 18, 2019
Thursday Apr 18, 2019
In 1979, on Easter Sunday morning in Jemison, Bro. Leon Stewart preached “The Resurrection”. Bro. Leon explains how a person experiences the resurrection and how it relates to Pentecost and the last days. Enjoy listening to Bro. Leon as he uses multiple scriptures, including passages from John 11 and Acts 2, to bring clarity to this subject, which appears to be misunderstood by the majority of the world.

Are your relationships defined by envy and competition, or by Godly love and unselfishness? In this Sunday morning sermon, Sis. Tess Hagan holds up two relationships from the pages of the Bible for scrutiny, and teaches us what lessons they hold for us today. The ancient wisdom of the Bible never disappoints in its timelessness and timeliness. Don’t miss this one, it is challenging and thought provoking.
